Shelley

Shelley is the deputy manager within the nursery. I have known Shelley for many years. Shelley has worked in my childminding setting for over a year before we opened the nursery. She lives with her husband and their youngest two children. We have opened a Nursery, that is flourishing and has a waiting list. Shelley has her 12 hour paediatric First Aid, and nearly completing her NVQ L3, she has Safeguarding, Food safety and Hygiene, and many more as she is also registered with Noodle now training. Shelley just loves talking, reading books, making up adventure stories and singing songs with all the children. The children adore her and the lovely creative activities she engages with them. Shelley‘s knows a lot of parents at the local school, where we do the wrap around care for.

Kayleigh

I have known Kayleigh for just under 10 years. She is loud and our little pocket rocket as you will all find out. She is enthusiastic, patient, fun and does everything with a smile on her face. She has childcare qualifications including a GCSE in Child development and BTEC level 3 national diploma in Children’s play, learning and development, 12 hour paediatric, Safeguarding, Food Allergy. She is a member of Noodle Now training and has successfully completed a lot more childcare related training courses since joining my team. Her experience has grown over the years while working with the children from 3 months – 11 years giving her the opportunity to influence their lives while learning.

Gill

Gill has been working in schools for 11 years, and has brought a lot of experience with her. She is our DSL. Gill lives with her husband and youngest child. Gill met her husband while at Judo, where Gill is a 4th Dan black belt. Gill has her 12 hour paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Food hygiene and many more certificates, she is also registered with Noodle now training. She has the children’s interests at heart and supports their development and skills with fun and exciting activities.

Julie

Julie has worked in nurseries over the years and worked for me a couple of years back in my childminding setting but left due to getting covid and becoming very unwell. Julie once feeling better started working in childcare again and has now returned to us, one full day a week. Julie has a NVQ 3 and keeps up to date with her first aid, safeguarding and other training, as she is also a member of Noodle now. Julie lives with her husband, they has two grown up children and grandchildren. She loves helping develop the nursery with her caring knowledge and skills.

Olivia

Olivia is our newest member of staff, she has been working in childcare for a couple of months. She joined us when we opened the Nursery. She has her DBS and first aid. She has been added to Noodle Now training courses and has completed safeguarding, child protection, working with babies, sleeping babies and a lot of them. She has also enrolled in doing her NVQ level 2. She has fun engaging with the younger children in our care, building their relationships, confidence, playing and developing their skills, while over coming any new challenges.
