We are open 48 weeks of the year and offer flexibility with sessions. We aim to provide an excellent standard of nursery care and education for children from 0-5 year old’s, and wrap around care 5-11 year olds.
In the nursery we use Babysdays. Babysdays is an amazing online software system allowing us to complete all areas of the EYFS, invoicing, newsletters, private messages and emails, professionally and efficiently. Their EYFS Software Application is complex yet simple to manage, designed and developed to assist you with the forms and paperwork involved around all areas of the EYFS which includes the structure of Learning, Development and Care. Each parent receives a secure, password protected, online daily information of their child’s adventures so that they can share in their activities and development.
Hours of opening are 7.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Thursday. We provide a wrap around care for Hollingbourne primary school, the younger children enjoy the opportunity to play alongside older children when we are all together.
We are registered with KCC to deliver the Early Years Funding Entitlement, to a maximum of 15 hours a week, (up to 570 hours) of the year for eligible 3 and 4 year old’s.
If you are able to get up to 30 hours a week (1,140 hours) per year and sometimes have the availability for your child to attend all 30 hours within my setting, this can be discussed.
Working with parents, I like to be as flexible as possible to fit in with individual needs of parents and carers while delivering the 15/30 hours of funded childcare. We charge a small sustainability fee for our funded childcare. If you want more than 15/30 hours, you will need to pay the extra hourly cost yourself.
You can use your 15 hours:
- between 7am and 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday
- for a minimum of 3 1/4 hours a day
- for a maximum of 10 hours a day
You can split your 15/30 hours between up to 2 providers, for example a childminder and a nursery. You also don’t have to use the whole 15/30 hours if that seems too much.
I am registered with different childcare vouchers as payment method.
Tax-Free Childcare is a new online government service to help parents to pay for childcare. For every £8 a parent pays into their Childcare Account, they add an extra £2 to your Childcare Account. I have signed up and will be ready as soon as the service starts.
